DURBAN SPORTS CLUB READY TO HUNT IN WFR30

After three demanding pre-season fixtures, Durban Sports Club believes preparations for WFR30 are exactly where they need to be.

Head Coach Kobus van Wyk has spent the off-season establishing standards and building combinations as the foundation club prepares for another campaign in one of World Fantasy Rugby's toughest competitions.

While results in pre-season rarely tell the full story, Van Wyk has been encouraged by the attitude shown across the playing group. "We've learned plenty about ourselves," he said. "The important thing isn't whether you win every pre-season match.

The important thing is whether you're improving every week." With a squad blending experience and emerging talent, Durban enters WFR30 determined to re-establish itself among the competition's elite.

The club's proud history stretches back to the early days of World Fantasy Rugby and remains one of the competition's recognised foundation franchises. Supporters have already begun building excitement ahead of Round One, with expectations growing around a squad that appears fitter, deeper and more connected than previous seasons. Van Wyk remains cautious. "Talk is cheap.

We start earning respect when the competition starts." The countdown to WFR30 has begun. The Sharks are circling.
