🌍 WFR XXXI INTERNATIONAL TOUR SERIES ANNOUNCED
World Fantasy Rugby goes global as international rugby returns to the WFR calendar
World Fantasy Rugby is set to enter a new era in WFR XXXI, with the confirmation of the brand-new WFR International Tour Series — bringing international representative teams into direct competition with WFR clubs around the world.
The new programme will see international sides embark on tours through New Zealand, South Africa, South America, Britain, Japan, Australia, North America and France, before the programme also features two full International Test matches involving New Zealand.
Unlike a conventional competition played across fixed rounds, the International Tour Series will operate as a rolling programme. Tour matches initially remain Date TBC and will be progressively scheduled as the season unfolds, allowing the international programme to operate alongside the WFR Premiership, Conference One and Knockout Trophy.
🇳🇿 NEW ZEALAND TOUR — FIJI & GEORGIA
The biggest programme belongs to New Zealand, where Fiji and Georgia will each face five WFR clubs.

The club tour programme will be followed by two International Tests involving New Zealand.

🌐 34 MATCHES — ONE GLOBAL WFR PROGRAMME
In total, the inaugural International Tour Series contains 34 matches:
32 WFR Club v International matches, followed by 2 International Tests.
All matches begin as Date TBC, with fixtures progressively added to the calendar through the WFR International Tour scheduling system.
For WFR clubs, this creates something completely different from Premiership and Conference One competition. Clubs will not simply be facing their familiar WFR rivals — they will now have the opportunity to test themselves against international opposition from across the rugby world.
From Fiji and Georgia touring New Zealand, to Kenya in South Africa, Brazil and Uruguay in South America, Portugal and Spain in Britain, and international rugby reaching Japan, Australia, North America and France, WFR XXXI is about to become considerably bigger.
The clubs are ready. The international teams are coming.
