The Buenos Aires Bombers welcome the Paris Titans to the imposing Estadio José Amalfitani for the first Conference One showcase of the new campaign — and a massive 49,540 supporters are expected to provide the backdrop for an electric opening-night battle. For the Bombers, there could hardly be a better way to launch WFR XXXI. Home soil, a huge Argentine crowd behind them and the opportunity to make an immediate statement to the rest of Conference One. But travelling halfway around the world are the Paris Titans, carrying their navy and magenta colours into hostile territory with every intention of ruining the Buenos Aires celebration. The Titans arrive knowing that an opening-round victory on the road would send an unmistakable message: Paris have come to challenge. It promises to be a fascinating collision of styles and identities — the fire and aggression of the Bombers against the strength and determination of the Titans.
