Santiago Condors looking to lift suprise package label in WFRXX

condors1Santiago were able to upset the Manase Manta Rays one of the most consistent teams in WFRXIX.

Former Silverstream Wild loose forward Dylan Mika has been confirmed to continue as head coach with former California Grizzles head coach assigned as his assistant/backs coach. Luke Tait and Juan Machado have been reappointed captain and vice captain.

“The boys are looking forward to this season after the solid first up season for the team, the country has got right behind us and Chile is a beautiful country,” stated Condors captain Luke Tait. “Belief is up and all STAR Alliance teams are confident after a good season all round by all teams.”

The squad for WFRXX has a settled look to it with only five changes from last season with Chilean flanker Anton Petrowitsch and hooker/prop Ramon Ayarza. French Fullback Stephen Parez, Irish halfback Luke McGrath and Samoan wing Jason Tagiilina.

“After our success last season now we have to continue the good work and don’t rest on our laurels,” commented Condors coach Dylan Mika. “We are looking forward to setting up some challenging pre-season trial matches with a eye to look at playing close by rival franchises.”
